Default Chris93Si's slow moving journal is slowly speeding up...

Well I've had the car for almost 2.5 years so I guess it's time I get around to making my journal. A little history, before the M3 I had several Hondas ending with a 2000 Integra Type R that I had for about six years, I tracked this car a good bit and really loved it. For whatever reason I decided to sell it and buy a 2009 Impreza WRX STI, I liked this car but it was kinda a boring drive, had it almost 2 years then realized that one of my realistic dream cars was becoming affordable and traded on my 2004 M3. I purchased the car from EAG in June of 2011 and have loved every minute. The car is currently at 55k miles. Mods are going slow (it's a little harder now that I'm older and have a 5 year old and a baby on the way) but I plan on keeping at it and eventually getting back to the track on a semi regular basis.

Mods to date..

Engine:
- Macht Schnell intake elbow
- Status Gruppe SCZA rear muffler (with 80mm Ti tips)

Wheels/tires:
- Volk TE-37SL 18x9.5 +22 w/ 255/35 Hankook RS3
- Apex 75mm studs
- Apex 5mm spacer rear

Brakes:
- Stoptech ST40 355mm fronts w/ one piece rotors
- Stoptech slotted rotors and SS lines rear
- Hawk DTC 70s front and rear

Suspension:
- Ohlins R&T
- Rouge RSMs
- Powerflex RTABs
- Treehouse Racing FCAs

Exterior:
- smoked corners
- black kidneys and gills

Other:
- E60 shifter w/ ECS rebuild kit

I'm going to be doing Inspection 2 in the next couple weeks then hopefully suspension in the spring, after that who knows.

On to some pics...

Only bone stock pic that I have...

Right after I put wheels on it...

As it sits today...

Stunning looking Imola Red. I seriously need to find a way to buy another E46 and it MUST be in Imola Red.

Certainly looking forward to seeing your project progress.

Thanks Flip, your car is one of my fave on the board.

Tony what's up? I've noticed your sig pic on here several times (great looking car) but never had any idea it was you. Crazy coincidence that we ended up with the same car, guess great minds think alike ;-)

I guess the E46 M3 is the natural progression as we get older but still want something track worthy. Is this your only car now?

And thanks!
