Gee, I knew about everything but not the a b on the pillars. I would have said front and center pillars. As far as right left I always just viewed that from the drivers seat to get it correct.

Since we're all trying to be technically correct, a car has both front and rear fenders as well as front and rear quarter panels. The fender is the raised part around the wheel arch and the 1/4 panel is the part that it's stamped into.
Trev's got the common usage correct, but you shouldn't get pissed because someone mentions a rear fender. |

I was always taught that the wheel arch in the back is part of the quarter, therefore its a quarter panal, not a fender. I was also taught that front wheel arch is part of the fender, so its called a fender.
It really stems to the whole you say toe-may-toe and I say toe-ma-toe. :nixweiss:
