Default 2013 M3 Coupe leases

I'm hearing that fantastic deals, starting in the very low $600's/month are out there til Jan 2nd....given BMW's holiday & Loyalty credits. Apparently, that's with no money down. Any truth to this? tx

This has been the case for the last couple of years.

Go to M3post and read up in the leasing forum.

Rules of thumb: ED, lease at ED invoice + $250-500, options at ED invoice, holiday cash, residual is calculated at US MSRP (!!), and 7 MSDs. No money down.

I did ED and 7 MSDs.. I currently have 10K+ in equity in the car vs. KBB private party which is absolutely unheard of for a lease. At least when I did my purchasing in 2011 it was very possible to get a nice E92 for $600-625/mo.

Also I heard they changed they way they did M leases for ED, ED allocations are now no longer extra and come out of dealer allocations. Which means you cannot get a M3 at European Delivery invoice.

I did my research on the internet (m3post for numbers/ordering guide, ridewithG for rates, slickdeals for more info, and bimmerpost for ED info) and just faxed my local dealer a spreadsheet of exactly what I wanted and what I would pay (ED invoice +$500, 7 MSDs, no money down, no MF markup + ED rider) and asked for 'yes' or 'no.' They called back and said 'yes'. Such a great way to buy a car; I love the internet -- all my friends with 135s or 335s who "negotiated" and thought they got great deals are paying more than me.

Here's what I get for the following config:

This is ED MSRP + 7 MSDs + Holiday Cash:

2013 M3 Coupe
Silver Grey + Alum/Carbon Trim
6MT + Cloth
220M 19" Wheels
Rear PDC

+ Dest Charge (895)
+ Gas Guzzler (1300)
+ Lease Acq (725)
+ Doc Fee (95)
- Holiday Cash (1500)

USA MSRP: 64925
ED MSRP: 59550
MF: .00125 - MSDs + ED rider = .00106
RES: 36/10k = 62%

$641.79/mo

at ED Invoice which may be impossible to get:

$512.74/mo

DO IT

Wow. With the ED invoice though, does one have to go to Munich and pick it up?
Also, what happens to the 7 MSDs if I put the car on lease trader 13 months from now?
Do I get that money back from BMW FS?

1) Obviously
2) You would need to get the buyer to cover them
3) No

You never trade a good lease; instead you sell the car. Ideally your car is worth more than your residual + remaining lease payments. Once you pay off the lease you get your MSDs back.

If that is really a lease price, I would jump on that, granted it sucks coming into winter, when I have an '09 with 17k miles.

I don't know a thing about leasing or anything you guys are talking about, but I am intrigued.

I'm new at leases, but if figured out ED meant European Delivery... what does 7 MSDs mean?

MSDs are multiple security deposits. A security deposit is equal to your lease payment including tax rounded to the next $50 increment. You can do a maximum of 7 security deposits and each one reduces the money factor by .00007. The savings is like getting 12% tax free on a CD.

so these leases are the real deal... so money due at this thing is less roughly 5k? (700 x7)
