I suggest asking people in your regional forum to let you ride in or possibly drive their cars that have different suspension options that you're considering. That way you have first hand knowledge of what really appeals to you rather than other people's opinions.

I find if you are going to spend the money on the kw v2's you might as well go for the v3's. Theres not enough of a difference for the price between the v1's and the v'2s. I have a Status Gruppe coilovers with camber plated and I don't find them harsh at all. Keep in mind I am running 12.5" all around. You don't have to lower your car that much.

12.5" all around, you live/drive in Montreal, and you don't find it harsh? You must have a titanium ass.

From the OP's description, I'd recommend stock or Koni Yellow with stock springs. Coilovers of any description are going to ride harsher.

Koni Yellow paired with Eibach springs. It's everything you'll ever want and need on a street car:

- mild drop
- OEM-like handling and durability preserved

Based on what you said, if you go with coilovers, you'll regret it.

Thanks for the info, I think the Koni Yellows are what's in my desired price range. I'm really not looking to spend a ton of money for something crazy or a drop of any magnitude. I already feel like the M3 comes low enough stock.

He didn't mention anything about springs. Is it typical to always replace springs when doing shocks and struts? Also, I figure while he's down there it's probably a good time to replace the RTAB and FCAB. I assume it would save labor costs in the long run to do it all at once and I have never replaced those parts either or pretty much anything. The car has been bullet proof since I purchased it.
