All of my posts from today, prior to maintence, are gone. As well as all of my PMs from my sent file.

Guess you didnt do a final backup prior to moving the database?

Any idea of how many other posts are missing?

Unfortunately, you're right. I was actually in the middle of checking the database for errors when the server went down unexpectedly. My next step after that would have been to create a backup before I opened the forums again. That wasn't able to happen.

There should have only been a few hours of lost data from yesterday.

I have a post in the OT section that explains what actually took place. To say the least, I am not happy about what happened.

I do apologize for the inconvenience.

UPDATE: Actually I think you have larger data losses than you think you do.

I have had an entire thread dissappear that was started several years ago and recently (within the last few days) responded in. It was my WTB for Silver CF SMG Paddles. I had posted in it on Saturday and that post dissappeared, so I re-entered it. Now the entire thread is gone...

Any ideas what happened there?

That thread was soft deleted by a mod because it was a WTB thread in the F/S section instead of the WTB section. I've restored it and moved it to the WTB section. You'll find it there.
