Default S52 intake manifold the same as 97 328 manifold??

I've got a guy interested in my stock M3 manifold but from what BMW is telling him, it's the same part. Is this true??

2000 540i: 18" split spoke chrome rims. Sold

2003 4.6IS X5 - Fluid Union motors 2" lift kit, Bilstein struts, 20mm rear wheel spacers
