You don't have to wait to change rotors then.

Change rotors, bed them in, good to go. They will feel pretty miserable the first time you use them.

Would it be fine to leave my old pads on and just change the rotors. My pads are new but they've been bedded into my old rotors. Don't know if just too wait till I have to replace my pads but I don't know if that would be safe

Yes, it's totally fine.

Bedding is just transferring pad material to the rotor, not the other way around.

Why buy a car that you cannot even afford the proper maintenence for?

The kid has "3.91 gears/Status Gruppe Headers/Evolve stage 2 tune/Macht Schnell Intake kit/HPF Subframe reinforcement" but can't afford the proper brake rotors? Give me a break! (pun intended)

lol did i say was going cheap on my rotors? no i stated i have cheaper alternatives, first in oem sizes i actually have availability of aftermarket rotors. for instance performance friction rotors, which if i decide to go to the track would be better suited (to note they are more expensive than zcp/csl rotors).
second my zcp rotors only lasted me +or-24,000 miles i think its a waste of money to be spending an extra lets say 250-300$ in rotors every 25,000 miles. high quality rotors make a huge difference on the track but for street use high quality rotors are not as important, now im not saying im going to buy autozone brand but stoptech rotors for oem sizes are 220shipped a pair.

Agreed. The OEM brakes last forever if used only on the street/autoX (my original factory brakes are finally done @ 65k miles) which means you'll almost never have to replace them, which makes the cost-per-mile negligible, which makes "downgrading" a ZCP street car's brakes sorta retarded. And that's not considering that you most likely paid extra for a ZCP car in the first place.

No offense.

did you not read what i wrote lol my zcp brakes only lasted me 24,000 miles and from my research i am not the only one. in theory yes if these rotors last me 65,000 miles then yes it is a amazing investment but if i have too keep switching them every +or- 25,000 miles then i do not believe its a good investment
