Default Vac tune

Gents,

Has anyone or know of somone that has had any experience with the in-house tune offered by VAC Motorsports in Phili?

Looking at getting a tune there with in the next couple weeks, and was wondering what kind of results people obtained.

Thanks

Wes

you should try Hills Garage since your local, then drive all the out to Philly.

Frank Smith can tune BM platforms pretty well and people are very pleased with the results.

+1 on Frank. He's done many cars in the area and is one of the best tuners around.

however, VAC is also a great shop and I would also trust them with my car.

Both Frank Hill (aka Hill's Garage) and Frank Smith (aka FS Tuning) are stand up guys OP, and their shops are literally right next to each other! I helped organize a local dyno day for some of the forum members last Fall, and everyone had a great time and were very pleased w/the results. If you need help getting in touch w/Frank just drop me a PM...

Ive just heard a few horros stories on VAC (believe it or not) so thats why Im a little skeptical.

Maybe I should give Frank a shot, dont know how much more of a difference I would get from an Evolve Tune if I went that route.

Do any of you guys have any personal experience with hp gains from his tune?

We can set one up anytime w/Frank, he's always willing to host them, just need to confirm a date w/him & then organize it! I can just cut & paste the previous thread and change the date.

Most of the guys posting in this thread have either had direct interaction w/Frank or witnessed his tuning firsthand! Frank has tuned my own M3 and I was more than pleased w/the final numbers as we broke the 300HP barrier! He'll be performing an Alpha-N tune on my car shortly...
