Default Morimoto mini h1 projector retrofit w/ 55w HID kit

This kit was purchased due to my car equipped with halogens. The thread below inspired me to tackle the DIY w/ a budget in mind.

http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=840919

The difference was night and day. I have never had any problems or bulb out warning lights on the dash. The shroud has been pre-assembled to the crystal clear projector with a sharp cutoff line that produces a blue to purple to bright white prism effect. The projector kit is paired with a DDM HID 55watt 4500k lifetime warranty kit that mimics OEM white color hues. Photos below show start up, warm up, and sharp cut off lines. This kit was used for approx 8 months w/4k miles only. Paid $275. Item SOLD, thanks everyone

I honestly don't know for a fact. The shrouds are exact replica size wise to OEM. Maybe someone can chime in if they tried it. I believe there is only one size that exist and because other members have shrouds on quad setups, I am guessing it would work...

The shrouds will fit on the stock projectors. You just need to JB weld them on since the clips aren't long enough to hold onto the projector. They are also too thick as well compared to OEM. Few dabs of JB quik weld and you're good to go.

Would you need a wiring harness to do the quad projector set up? Or is this plug and play?

Depends on how you want to wire it up. But you will need some type of harness to wire them to function. I have mine wired to my fog light button. I have deleted my fog lights so everything is clean and OEM with no random switches. If anyone is interested in gettings the quads done, feel free to PM me and we can get something up to get these installed for you.

The OP had halogen headlamps and isntalled these to work for his low beams. If you want to add them to your already current xenon or bixenon headlights, you will need a harness to power these.

Free bump for the OP
