Well gentleman. Unless I can find a replacement steering rack before Saturday night, I don't think I'll be able to run this event.

The driver's side bushing on mine are shot, and the passenger side inner tie rod is fairly loose.

It would be a total buzzkill not to be able to run, but I honestly wouldn't mind more time to get some safety equipment in the car.

Anyone got any leads on a 98 z3 1.9L rack in the greater LA area?

Look on car-part.com. There are 4 places that claim to have them in California. Hope that helps!

Thanks, I called Kevin and he directed me there too. Unfortunately, the close ones don't state whether or not they're the 1.9L version that I need.

I may just replace the inner tie rod and run it, that should address the darting issue and make it a bit safer for the track.
