Default ▀▄ eas | A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing: VF620 Supercharged content inside

Enclosed are pictures from a recent E90 M3 VF620 Supercharger build at our facility in Anaheim, CA.

Only one request was made. Make it ungodly !@#$%(&# fast while keeping the OEM look and feel.

This E90 dynoed strong at 351whp/263lb-ft TQ. By the time the VF620 Supercharger system was strapped on, those numbers jumped to 521whp/357 ft-lb TQ: A total gain of 170whp/94 lb-ft TQ! Clearly a Wolf in Sheep's Clothing.

Installation

Dyno

The build is intended to be completely stock looking while staying under the radar from suspecting eyes. By the time you realize what's happening - the only view you'll see is E90 taillights disappearing into the horizon.

Enjoy!

I'll get these in the Dyno Database as soon as I can. I think I'm behind at least 3 or 4 entries right now.

Very nice gains. I understand what the owner was trying to accomplish. Maybe you can talk him into going catless and changing the exhaust. He should pick up at least another 40whp that way.

Owner was very clear in his needs to retain the OEM look (and sound), as this is a daily driver. But it's good to know that the even more power is still on tap if the want is there.

just curious, why did your systems perform so poorly on the dyno in the eurotuner shootout?

Where are you guys located in Anaheim? I didn't know we had shops in OC other than Bullet that does work like this.

The dyno used was installed literally 4 days before the shootout - with very little experience on operation. The operator was also modifying correction factors on the fly to meet desired ranges. A number of participants were way off their normal numbers, a reason why the "expected" column was later added to the article.

We'll post up the article shortly in a separate thread.

We're literally where the 55 and 91 freeways meet, feel free to drop on by.
