Mileage: 19,500.

It's that time of the year where I begin to prepare for track days-

Just ordered 2 bottles of RBF600 for a much needed brake flush.

I can’t think of another automobile that does so many things so well—and in such a right-sized package. If you put an F1 car and a premium sedan in a blender, the M3 would be the cocktail that pours out. Mmmm, nothing else like it. A toast then: To the BMW M3, the greatest all-around car in the world.

Lightbulb Re: Checkmate's AW/FR E90 M3 Journal

Guess what I did 3 weekends ago? 1500 miles over 26hrs in the pursuit of the best driving road on the east coast and...its done.

It began on Friday @ noon where I drove from Baltimore to Fairfax to rendeavous with my bud and his SSII E92 M3. From there we embarked on a LONG 7 hr drive straight to Asheville, NC where we encountered some stunning scenic highways and major roads. We hit Asheville's nightlife scene Friday night but couldn't stay out too late considering the crazy drive we had ahead of us on Saturday.

Sat-we quickly grab breakfast and fuel up for what promises to be an epic drive. Here are some shots that day:

:

After 13.5hrs of pure driving with only 2 thirty minute stops for snack + lunch, we drove threw some of the most captivating roads in the US with the icing being the Rt. 129/Dragon which is a glowing ribbon of asphalt with insane drops and tight turns.

This was one hell of a trip through 4 states in the course of 2 days with 26hrs of driving involved. All in all, this was one for the books.

Back home in VA with the badge of honor:

Update as of 7/13/2013:

Anybody hazard a guess as to what's changed??

-ACM Exhaust Mod
-EAS Tips
-Blacked out Muffler

Special shout out and thanks to Caesar@Lightwerkz who sold and installed the same. Needless to say-I've stopped playing music since I got the bad boy.

The car sounds freakin' A-W-E-S-O-M-E.

Video forthcoming...

I can't stop shifting now-the sound is uber exotic. I don't why people would need to spend more for another exhaust. I got so many thumbs up from people over the weekend.

This sounds better than anything out there save for Akrapovic which is $5,000

Awesome journal....Awesome E90, so simple but very effective.....I see you're in Baltimore and you've been going to the only two tracks I know in this region....Which one do you prefer? hows the drive to both?

Thank you sir! I like VIR because its fast with plenty of runoff areas, NJMP Lightning is decent but Thunderbolt would be your ticket as well. Summit point is renown for big tight and technical however-beware of making mistakes because those concrete barriers don't make it easy.
