Just curious, Vf is making changes to my map for me since I think I am maxing out my timing.

Not making the power I should be, the Peak timing is at like 8*.
The new mafless tune isn't designed to run the t trim with the stage 2 pulley. I am also running water/meth. Also the new tune isn't as aggressive as the old GIAC tune. Past owner hit 500whp @ 7500 with the GIAC canned tune and meth. With a decent tune I think I should probably be in the 525-550whp on 93. I hit about 11psi in warmer weather and close to 12 (11.7-8) in very cold weather.

Peak timing is 8*? Or is that timing at peak torque?
If peak is 8*, that does seem a bit low. What size injectors are you using? Quote:

The timing is basically 8* at wot 5000+ from what I noticed.
Injectors are 500cc IIRC at 3.5 bar and I'm running the stock 5 bar FPR.

8* seems low except at peak torque. You have to be careful though, getting timing happy can ruin your day quick I would shoot for a timing number or dyno number, rather how it drives and feels. Traps speeds would be a good indication as well.
Just don't shoot for a number. |
