Anyone that happens to live in North East PA or the tri-state area (I travel between the two pretty frequently) send me a PM and perhaps we could could work something out. There are probably other members with the hardware/software to do this in other locales I'll work on it... give me some time

damn it might be worth the drive to your area just to have this done. How would you feel about a trip to the Chicago land area?

Wrote up a quick guide. I apologize if there are any typos, didn't really proof-read it. The procedure should be sound though.

NICE! Does it shift faster? It looks like the revs are higher but hard to see on the phone.

Rev limit should be the same. It does shift a bit faster, and the launch control is way more aggressive (launches from about 5K and engages very aggressively)

Damn, my car smokes the tires leaving at anything over idle, can't imagine launching the car @ 5,000rpm's!
Did he say: "clutch smells" at the end of the vid??? Ouch!!![]()

I drive the car that was upgraded today. the launch is at 4500 and is actually way smoother than the stock launch. the clutch indeed WILL work harder in this mode thus wear out faster. I am shocked how smooth the launch is, incredible.
shift lights work, i just didnt run it up to 7k where the lights begin to work. I wasnt making a video to post just did it last minute, as i was in the middle of the road i hurried due to traffic approaching in the rear view . Yes i did say the clutch smells but i drive an SMG and and generally do not smell clutch being that the shifts are always perfect I didnt smell anything abnormal. Shifts are not noticeably faster, but im sure they are? Ill keep anyone posted who is interested, as i am not on the forum often..fstrnr1@yahoo.com
