Default Roundel Overlay...matte black?

Ok, sort of a dumb question... Does anyone have any pics of a roundel with jet black or matte black overlays (looking at Bimmian)? I'm thinking the matte won't quite look right with the gloss black "BMW" ring. Guess it depends on just how matte it really is...

For what it is worth...my Red from bavauto.con was not even close to Imola Red. Ripped off the overlays on less than a minute.

Good to know, though it looks like Bimmian has close matches to almost every stock color. I'm also installing matte black kidneys...so trying to decide whether to match those or the gloss black of the roundel. Decisions, decisions...

My ex went gloss on her dark silver z4. I would go gloss to match the rest of the roundel. I would think that matte would just stick out to much. The idea is to underemphasize the badge work. While matte looks good on trim bits, the rest of the gloss on the roundel just makes the matte overlay look bad/cheap.

That's what I was thinking...I'll go ahead and order the jet black roundels from Bimmian.

just buy a matte black one for 20-30 bucks and replace the whole thing. Mfest sells them and I think I have seen it on ebay too.

I have the jet black ones from Bimmian. I think they look good. Here's a couple of pics.
