Terra, I remember you talking about gutting out the ebay folding mirror motor on my thread, so did you went with oem or the ebay one?

I used OEM M5 mirrors as the donors. From what I understand replicas work fine for that purpose.

Yeah. There may be other models with the same motors, but I don't personally know of any

where did you get yours, those M5 mirror are on the same price range with e46 m3 mirror on ebay.

I actually bought mine new - they're considerably cheaper than the M3 mirrors

Is this the same as replacing the LCM or are you talking about the actual LSZ in the passenger footwell behind the carpet?
