If you're not jumping in on the GB, whats the cost normally for just the unit, no tune. I'm thinking I can use my tune with ESS for this?

Thanks,
Answered in the other thread, but not 100% sure yet. RRP is 2,000, around $3,200... evolve-R on top of that. It's a great GB price.

ESS: I don't know if they can tune alpha-N, you should contact them directly to see if they have the ability to retune your file for removal of the MAF

how much total hp increase are we ballparking for box with tuning? your wording confused me a little bit
Around 30bhp total, our tune plus box. I'm not sure how the ESS would perform or if they can tune for Alpha-N (see above)... if they can then your good to go!

Does the mythical 125hp/l exist? I hope so!
Cool! Always nice to have more figures out there on different cars and dynos!

ess can definitely tune for alpha-n, i've seen it done and discussed it with them...

are there plans for a group buy without the tune?

Signing up pending answers to the following questions.

1) Is any permanent modification (i.e., cutting or modifying stock parts, or splicing wires) to the vehichle is necessary for this airbox?

2) Will you have a tune that works with the U.S. header/cat setup (i.e., non-Euro/CSL headers & cats)?

3) Will it come with installation instructions?

4) What happens to the dipstick for the oil? Is there room for it somewhere under the airbox?

5) Any issues with water making its way through the fog light opening and into the airbox under heavy rainfall?

Thank you!

Also need the realistic time frame for accually having the air box available to the US GB. Are we talking 3-5 weeks or 3-5 months?
