im going to a dyno day tmomorow in sarasota.. i was wondering if anyone could tell me stock hp on a M3 e46 2003 ??

and how much horsepower i should expect with a K&N Intake and Agent Power Muffler?? lmk!!

on what kind of dyno? they all post different numbers but in reality the only accurate thing you can do is to compare the numbers to other cars that were dynoed there that day.

and I wouldn't expect much with just those two mods

well duh lol i know im not over 300 just seein how much lol 280ish ?? i seen on forums people puttin 280 on stock.. but like i have headers otw and i wanna get a computer reflash thinkin turner motorsport idk which one is best ?

dynojet should be around 270-280
dyno dynamics 230-255 depending on what software they are running
those are the only ones i'm familiar with

with headers you will actually see quite a difference

and I wouldn't waist my money on shark, a lot of those off the shelf tunes will actually make you loose power, even though I've head good things about ess software, as well i'm sure any custom tune with the car on the dyno should provide good results

RTAB - rear trailing arm bushing
RSM - rear shock mount
both of those are common problems on the e46's

I would highly recommend the ESS tune over Turner's. It makes great power and fixes the OEM throttle lag, whereas Turner makes it way too aggressive.
