Default need 2 rear pilot sport oem tires, 18 inch

hey everyone.. i've been checking out this board, and just got my '02 m3 a few days ago! i traded up from a 330ci and i'll have the say, the difference is quite impressive. that sport button is a monster ! i'm adding hoen 9006 fogs and painted front reflectors tonite based on the posts i've read (this forum is great!), and here's a pic of my new car before those mods...

my questions is about rear tires.. i noticed my rear pilot sports (oem 18") are about bald, and i want to replace only the 2 rears, since the fronts still have plenty of life on them.

do you guys know anywhere i could get 2 pilot sport tires in 18 inch size used, with maybe 6-7/32 inch tread left? or maybe somewhere i can get a really good price for 2 new rears? i noticed tirerack.com has each for $253, so the 2 rears come to $525.94 shipped. i'm really looking for a better price, maybe under $500 if i pay cash? i'm in the los angeles area if anyone could help me out.

really appreciate any help or advice.. thanks in advance!

george

Welcome to the board for one. The ride looks sweet!

Tirerack has always had good deals on tires. I tried a place called onlinetires.com once.. but they couldn't get the size I wanted and I ended up getting pissed at them and went to tire rack. Maybe try them?

On a side note, the size I requested was a bizzar one at best, which is prob why they had a difficult time finding it.
