I have a 2007 Z4M Coupe which has been going into limp mode every so often as of late. The below codes are being thrown...
2CEE Throttle Valve Actuator Sluggish Movement 2B0D - Throttle Valve I initially replaced just the throttle position sensor since i had read that the TPS could be the simple fix instead of the actuator, but that hasn't solved the issue. Do these codes indicate that the Actuator is in fact the part that needs to be replaced? Are there other sensors/parts I should replace along with the actuator? For the record, the car goes into limp mode with the EML and some other slights on the dash. However, if i simply just turn the car off and then back on, all is well for another few weeks. The car does feel slower though and it seems my gas mileage has dipped. Also, the car occasionally revs itself when I'm going about 40mph or so. For example, I will be cruising along at about 40-45mph or so and then i will press the accelerator to give it some gas. When i let off the accelerator, the car seems to stay revving for a second longer before letting up even though i let up already. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
