Hey guys, had a minor booboo the other day in my apt parking lot. Ford Explorer backed up while i was rounding a corner and I slammed my brakes, threw it in reverse and though I backed up in time but he ended up scraping the bumper a bit.
It's really not too bad, a slight crack right next to the missing reflector and some scrapes, but how much am I looking at to get this fixed? I'm not really too concerned about it since it's just cosmetic damage. Can it be sanded down and repainted or anything? I don't really know much about body work. Maybe I should just take this and make it an excuse to get a CSL bumper. Any input would be nice, also links to CSL bumpers would be nice too ![]()

if you want a CSL bumper, use this as an excuse.
if you want to stay OEM, get the reflectors shaved and go Euro OEM. ![]() |

I'd say it's definitely repairable, from my experience $200 - $300 at an independent bodyshop....
I've had a few scrapes on my rear bumper, I keep putting it off mainly because it means losing the car for two or three days.... |
