Default 2002 e-46 bearing recall question Vin#JR14546

I am looking to purchase a 2002 M3 81k miles, originally from Canada. It came to the states about 2 years after purchased to Texas. I went the the dealership for a PPI and run the key for work done on the vehicle. Unfortunately there is not much history on the vehicle. The issue I have is there are no records of the bearing recall being done in North America. As the vehicle was originally from Canada I was able to contact the original dealer and had confirmation that defect code #0011760100 E-46 Big-end bearing was done. There is also an outstanding defect code #0011950100 Replacing Big End Bearing shells (2.kdb) which according to the Canadian dealer has not been done.

My local dealer told me defect code #0017601011 is the same connecting rod recall as SIB 11-02-03 which is is replacing connecting rod bearings and water pump and that #0011950100 is basically a later date duplicate of the original defect code? However they would not provide any other documentation saying it is proprietary but told me the bearing wrk appeared to be taken care of. There is a disconnect between BMW NA and BMW Canada as far as info goes.

They also stated defect code #0011760100 is the same as SIB 11-02-03 which was the bulletin for the connecting rod/water pump service.

Can anyone confirm from this info that the bearing recall was done and that the second defect code does not be taken care of? Or that defect code #001760100 is the same as SIB 11-02-03? I have found some cross reference to all these numbers on the web but nothing conclusive. Any help would be great as I am trying to purchase this M3 and want to make sure this issue has been taken care of.
