Monday, Aug 2 KOOL101 Classic Car Cruise Night 6:00
@Ocean Beach Park 98 Neptune Avenue in New London, Connecticut. Free Parking ""Every Monday night throughout the summer, it's the "KOOL101 Classic Car Cruise Night." A live DJ spins the sounds of the '50s and '60s while a parade of Classic Cars lines the Boardwalk. Play a round of miniature golf or ride the rides for a special Cruise Night price of $1.01. Cap off the evening with a Carvel ice cream cone. And parking is free!..."" Music of the 50s and 60s I could do without lol.. But as far as I know its not only classics. You will see a little of everything, and hopefully a bunch of BMWs... ///For anyone wanting to meet up and cruise over: Meet up @ old Mystic village parking lot around 5pm From there we can take a straight ride on RT 95 to New london, 20-25 min ride. (If we had more time I would say cruise through historic Mystic and Groton, hop back on 95). Directions to old Mystic village From RI, and eastern MA: I-95 south to Exit 90: turn left at the end of the ramp: at second light turn left onto Coogan Blvd and entrance to the village is your first left. From NY, NJ and southern CT: I-95 north to Exit 90: turn right at the end of the ramp: at first light turn left onto Coogan Blvd and entrance to village is your first left. From Western MA and Northern CT: RT 91 south to RT9 south to RT95 north to Exit 90: turn right at the end the ramp: at first light turn left onto Coogan Blvd and entrance to village is your first left. |
