Something to also consider is the cars gas milage, which, lets be honest, is horrible. It's fine if this is your second car, or you don't mind spending about 80$ a week on premium (what I spend here in NJ on 2 fill ups per week), but this car's smaller tank (16.6 gallons),and 16 MPG rating means that gas costs are something you will need to consider if you are on a tight budget when you purchase it. Fill ups with happen more often.

A new car, especially a luxury one, is one of the worst 'investments' anyone can ever make. Don't fool yourself, the second you drive that puppy off the lot you just lost $15,000, and if you're leasing your paying even more. If your car is going to cost $1200/month you should be making $2000/month easily take home, if not then you should look at used or another car. You may regret it otherwise.

agreed. You need to be pulling in some good cash to own one of these or it will effect you a lot on pocket money and normal living. Def not looking forward to the costs for gas.

My word of advice is don't buy the car. If mom and dad are paying for it than great. If you are going to do it, their is alot more that you can do with your life than drive an M3 when your 18. Please don't be a slave to your car payment because you are not going to enjoy it. Insurance will run probably more than $200, call first and obtain a quote. The payment are probably $1200 or more. If you earn approx. $12 an hour X 5 days a week your looking at gross pay of $480 per week or $1920 gross per month. Subtract taxes, social security, FICA and you will end up with $1650 or so. Than you have your living expenses, Rent, food and entertainment. I agree with the last guy buy yourself the E46 and save for a couple of years and buy the new model in 2014 that will replace the e92.

Wish you the best of luck.

No, I work for a living. I am not one of his "chosen ones."
