Default Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS

Are these any good?

Between these and the Kuhmo KU31?

My dad runs them on his AA supercharged e36 and likes them, I just bought a set for my e46 and like them better than the UHP's I had on there before

They have a rebate going on if you buy 4... $75 I believe... I can get all four installed for about $950 out the door (275/30/19's and 245/35/19's).

I had the RE950 on my TT before, liked them a lot for a harder all season tire... the 960 is supposed to be even better, again if you want an all season

A lot of guys here will tell you how you are going to hell if you put all season tires on your M3 though... and personally I drive on Hankook Ventus V12 K110 that are awesome

And don't buy all season tires for treadlife warranty, it won't be honored without even treadwear which you won't get on the rear with the negative camber

I basically want a quiet tire that lasts.

Options in PR are limited.

Toyo T1R's ~1050 for the set
Kuhmo KU31 ~840 for the set
Nankang NS2 ~800 for the set
Bidgestone RE960AS ~950 for the set...

Haven't found any Hankook's or General tires.

I had these on my last car (VW GLI) and was very satisfied with them. For an all season tire they handled great, and were quiet and comfortable (car had 18" wheels).

I've had them for 5 months now or approx 5500miles. In the winter with about 1-5 inches of snow on the ground i had no problem getting around. In the rain they have good traction until i hit a deep puddle one time going about 80 mph, I hydroplane for a brief second. In dry weather, they have good traction around town and it's a quiet comfortable ride.(i'm on 18s)

Would i recommend them? yeah
would i buy them again? no, only because i like to try new things.

I'm comparing these tires to an old set of Dunlops that were on the car when i purchased it.

Is it worth paying an extra $250 for Hankook K110 V12's vs the Bridgestone's?

I do not track my car... I basically want quiet handling, longevity and somewhat of a decent grip.

go with the bridgestone tires...they are quiet and have great handling in the rain, plus the tread were is 300 which means they wont wear as fast... my wife got those for her 06 alitma(245/35/20)... and i got a set for my m3(245/35/20and 285/30/20). i ve had dunlop...michelin and bridgestone re050a...i think the best are the re960... awsome tires for so cal... where are you located?
