Default Pic Request: External Temperature Sensor

Hey everyone,

Was wondering if anyone could help me out. I ran over a deer this past weekend and it damaged my driver side splitter (I think dealer calls it shark fin) and tore off the external temperature sensor. I'm going to order the part online and install myself. Could someone help me out by snapping a few pics and showing me what it looks like and how its housed in the front of the wheel well?

Tnx!

Im not near my car but it's a pointy shapped object; it should be pretty easy to see in a diagram; if not you can post it and I'll point it out.

There you go, Item #1, It's attached to your left (driver) brake cooling duct.

i figured this was it, but i recall looking at mine when doing an oil change and it looked kind of cone-shaped as opposed to this....

It's mounted on the front left (driver's) wheel well liner - the plastic liner has a short straight section that goes forward and connects to the bottom of the front bumper. The sensor is mounted somewhere in the middle of the liner, pointy end angled to the front of the car and pointing towards the ground at around a 45 degree angle.
