Default MB E55 AMG for M3 Convertble

Looking to sell/trade my 2001 Mercedes E55 AMG so I can get an M3 convertible.

Bought the Benz new in Feb 01, $73k (well, 78 OTD). Asking $43.5 or trade.

0-60 in 4.6 per Road and Track. This car is stone stock and stunningly fast, but 0-60 is far outshone by the 60-100 punch which will blow nearly anything on the road away.

Car is Silver with Charcoal/Silver 2-tone interior. 349hp, 390lb tq. 5 Speed Auto. Comparable to an M5 except for the manual transmission and a few tenths 0-60 (unless you are professional driver the auto will win most of the time).

Options: Heated/Cooled ventilated sport seats, CD changer. No Nav.
see it here:
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...lor=&cardist=0

Needs to be at least a 2002. Prefer SMG and Nav.

If interested email me at kcvette@iwon.com

Thanks

Yep, R&T had it at 4.6 back in 2001. Car and Driver listed it at 4.9 which was more believable. Must have been cooler day, right elevation, who knows.

In the comparo, there was only 2 or 3 tenths of a second 0-60 between the E55 and M5, then I believe the AMG blew by 60-100 with the M5 catching up and passing at the quarter mile by a few tenths.

I raced a Z8 at light a few months back, stayed glued to him to the whole way. He was probably pretty unhappy given how much that thing cost.
