Default Sunroof seal DIY

Sup guys,

Looking to replace the rubber seal surrounding the sunroof glass, as its beginning to fade to gray...

Anyone have a DIY for this?

Thanks!

I know theres a DIY on sunroof railing replacement, showing you how to remove the glass part of the sunroof...

does anyone know if the rubber seal is glued on? How would you remove it?

buys a new oem rubber seal, it has a red plastic tape covering the glue/tape that adheres to the metal of the roof. The old seal just peels off, you may have an inch or so extra with the new one, so you might have to cut it.

I did this last fall, my advice is to slowly put it in and remove the red tape as you go.
