How would a us s52 stack up against a euro s52b30? What do the euro 3.0's usually dyno? How bad would a euro 3.0 beat a us s52 in a straight line race?

Would be close but the Euro will walk it everytime over 80mph.
They usually put down 250-260whp. You basically need every mod for an S52 to even them out.. S50B32 is a whole 'nother story. |

You asked the same question on Bimmerforums... And you will get the same answer.
If you are in USA, you can't legally install one, and if you are Europe, why would you install an S52b32US? Once you turbo the US motor, you won't really care about the euro.... It's a really stupid question, and trying to answer it amounts to mental masturbation...

anything without FI < Euro
If you want raw power, i'd go Euro. The S50/S52 are pieces until Turbo, why buy the mods to beef them up when u can just buy a Euro motor. But not all of us can just shell out for a Euro, it'd be the smarter choice and u can save your money instead of putting each paycheck(or ur parents) to a HFM, cams, or some chip lol. My two cents, but it seems more logical.
