Default Somewhat cleaner car, Bosch headlights, 30+ pictures.

So I brought the M3 home from storage yesterday after installing the new Bosch headlights. The headlights are original Bosch, made in Germany, with new, AL-stamped lenses (with nipples!).

I've installed Osram Night Breaker +90 55W bulbs in the low beams and high beams for maximum output (they are rated #2 on the market for halogens, and are the best bulb available in H1). I'll be installing my GE-Tungsram Selective Yellow fog light bulbs as soon as I get my PnP harness made (I'm making my own with BMW parts and some 9006 plugs from eBay).

Output shots will come after I connect the headlights, obviously. I'm also going to hook up the city lights (of course) and delete the parking lights.

Anyway, I washed the car today and decided to shoot some pictures in my driveway. It was going from overcast to sunny, so some of the shots turned out kind of cool, I think.

Sorry if some of the shots are repetitive. Here they are:

Great car. Do you miss the thumb rests on the steering wheel?

And why no amber?

Love seeing stock-ish cars. Seems like everything I'm seeing these days is blasphemous.

I don't miss the thumb rests at all. There are nice grooves at 9 and 3 that make it a bit more comfortable.

I ditched the ambers as soon as I could. I'm not a fan. I think they can look decent on some cars, but I prefer Estoril with clears. And I prefer the stock Euro look to the stock US look.
