Default S65 Swap

Has any read anything in regards to swapping an S65 engine into the E46 chassis? I've heard how somone swapped the E39 M5 V8 engine into the E46, but I haven't heard much about the anyone swapping the S65 V8 into the E46. Any links would help, the search function on the forum is not exactly my forte.

I have not heard of one done yet but considering S65 is a smaller and lighter engine, it should be doable with god results. In due time somone will do it.

S65 is way to new to go and pick one up from a dealer or try and pick one up used. Cost alone for the motor your looking at $20k+.

i think it would be much cheaper to supercharge your e46 though.
what i would like to see is a mid engine 3100lbs bimmer with the s65 under 50k. if bmw built it, I will buy.

God results seems surprisingly apt for a typo
