Default SP Engineering - Air Scoop Dyno Results!

Hey guys, we've just finished testing on a local customers bone stock E46 M3 with our 1-piece air scoop.

The owner of the test car should be chiming in soon, but results were great! Car had 63,430 miles when we strapped the car down and the motor was extremely healthy, putting down 278.2 HP and 238.1 TQ BONE STOCK!

Even with such a healthy motor, both midrange and peak hp/tq figures were improved.

Mid-Range Figures: +9 HP/+7 TQ
High-End Figures: +10HP/+6 TQ

We will be offering these to the M3F community for an introductory price of $90 shipped. Not sure how long we will run this special for so act fast!

The scoops are all 100% bolt on and require no modifications. These secure onto the car use the factory intake guide tabs. I will post some pictures of that shortly.

Also, for those considering these scoops, it would be great to pair this up with the BMC Air Filter & Samco Intake Arm that we are selling as well. Easy horsepower with minimal modifications. LINK!!

Comments and questions are welcomed. Thanks!!!

Ed @ SP Engineering

Thanks for transferring over the pictures!! I forgot to snap them during the dyno run, but hopefully the owner of the car will post some up, he took a few with his cam.

Once installed, you won't really notice anything except for the small badge in the corner of the scoop. It's very incognito!

So the Elbow and Filter made +- 10hp and this thing makes +-9hp on a stock filter and elbow

SP-Scoop + Streamline/Samco Elbow + Streamline/BMC filter should make +15whp on a stock M3 if I'm correct, I know you can't count hp numbers with the mods you do but the elbow and filter were still untouched on this one?

if yes, they should make the difference they usually make. would be kinda awesome if that's the case!

Mod your stock intake for 275$ and gain 15+ whp !!!
