Default *those with v-csl bumper..question*

Hey guys-

I have a question, i have a friend who recently received his bumper last week, and finally opened up the box. And said it looked less than par, so when he brought it to his body shop, the bumper actually needed alot of prep work, and other parts of the V-CSL "smoothed out".

From you guys with these bumpers, is that normal?

Yea, mine wasn't superb either. Took a little work. But then again, it's aftermarket.

Yep. There was some work needed to get the bumper working.

I wish some of the stuff they mold into there for mounting was omitted and we could just put the parts from the stock bumper on there. It would have made it much easier.

+1. Body shop had do some minor work on it to get it right. Like others have said, its aftermarket so its never going to be perfect. But for the money Vorsteiner asks....

yes bodyshop needed to prep it really well; the bootlid requires even more work.

Mine fit perfectly, but the shop had to fig the tow hood hole because it wasn’t round. There was also some other prep work that had to be done.
