Default 86th Pikes Peak Hill Climb (56 Nicht gut)

Here are my photos from the day, a compilation video of all the cars that went around the corner we were sitting at will be up soon.

Oh yeah, I took pictures of all the older vintage style and the about half the trucks, then I decided I would just video them coming through the corner. Have video of 35 more cars coming through the corner. I didn't take any pics or vids of the motorcycles, dirt bikes, or ATV/4 Wheelers though.

At the end, every car came down in a parade.

The WRX Wagon that went into some trees. Both driver and Navigator were air lifted and Navigator was transfered to Denver Medical with a broken back.

Great pics. I'll never forget how surreal it was fishing at Pikes Peak. Gorgeous state.

this guy high-centered on his tranny. He sure took it well though. I don't think I could stand there that calmly if I just crashed in front of hundreds of people on a race like that.

The only car I really wanted to get a good shot of and I fubar it. Monster was a force of nature though. No one even came close to how fast and beautifully he came up and around our hairpin. That man's driving is an art form in itself.

The diesel trucks:
I now love these things, they are awesome!
