Default e46 convert to e93....

Greetings,

I picked up my e93 vert a couple of days ago. Having driven a e46 M3 vert since 2004, I can tell you that it is night and day. I did not think I would like the e93 more since the e46 was so pure. You know what? The e93 is BAD A$$. The power, the ride, the seat and THE SOUND. The exhaust is INCREDIBLE. I am extremely happy with the e93. SO FAR.....

Here is a pic.

wow, i totally thought this thread was going to be about someone who converted an E46 m3 to a E93

Thats awsome to hear! i have had very little seat time in a e9x m3 and i could instantly tell that BMW fixed what i personally thought the e46 was lacking. The car feel more like an e36 to me.

I bought an E46 Vert too for the exhaust note. I wonder how it is in the new E93 vert now though... I am jealous haha

Convertible looks the best of the 3 versions by far. Congratulations!

I'm sure the e93 V8 note is nice, but I still dig the E46 exhaust note, the power, and the raw feel. Plus it has classic good looks which will never get old.

Nice color combo, by the way. Congrats on the car!

I saw a vid somewhere about a Fifth Gear review of the e93 and e46 verts and they said they baisically pulled equally hard since the e93 had to pull more weight from the hardtop convertible and the v8 didnt have too much torque.

Would you say it pulls harder than the e46 in a straight line? The exhaust note on the e93 must be amazing with the high revving v8 But my ol e46 has never let me down at a good 8000 RPM's

BTW: very nice car
