I'm with you. Regular LC works fine for me, but I've never had any joy with burnout mode. No matter how fast I stomp on the gas pedal it always just seems to do a regular LC launch (which is still pretty frigging spectacular BTW).

Have you tried mashing the pedal without pushing the stick forward? I didn't know about the stick thing when I tried my launch mode. It worked like a charm. Got lots of smoke and burnt rubber. That was the first and last time I tried that feature. ) Not really a fan of replacing my rubber more often than my oil.

When you do burnout mode, just mash it. The RPM's still go up slowly..it's kind of freaky. But when you let go of the stick, it should light up like crazy!!! Be ready to shift into second or you'll be bouncing of the rev limiter like a freakin' pogo stick. Oh, and you will probably burn about 2000 miles worth of tread off of your tires.

I've only done it once and I bounced off the rev limiter two or three times before I realized that I needed to shift. My buddy was laughing so hard he almost peed his pants. We burned out clean into fourth gear, before I had to let off.

just like 04vert said here's the other way...with s6 engaged at a standstill, press the accelerator once really fast, let go then stomp on it again and you will get burnout mode. When I do this I peel-out every time.

I think you are doing everything right. I did it and a always lose time in first

gear spinning. I think the problem is in your tire. Mine is contiContact(the one

with the M3 logo on it). This tire seems to be a bit easy on asphalt.

What size and tire you have in the rear?

If you are concered, swap the rear tires with old bald ones for experimental

purposes to see if you have any bourn-out malfunction

Basically, LC in the US is crap. Burnout mode beats the heck out of the car without really achieving much of a launch.

That may be true but I have seen M3's launch with AWD cars, pretty freakin sweet IMO.

Same as the OP for me. I know how to get Burnout mode. But it only seems to work once in a blue moon.
