Here's the exact TSB if anyone needs to inform their dealer before the 1200 mile service...

I have seen no fuel pump problems with these yet.
I am assuming these fuel problems are related to the fuel pump problems I have been seeing on all e90's.. Not a epidemic- There are only a handful out of the bunch!! Although I havent had any come in with more then 2g on the clock yet. The engine makes all sorts of noises.. Dont be alarmed!!- ITS NORMAL!!- The are loud -right from off the boat.. So far extremely impressed!! Congrats to all Owners |

Minor issue with ticking/cricket like sound coming from my front left wheel when taking hard right turns (at tire slip limit). I hope it's not a problem with the ball bearings (or whatever is used), as it could sound like a mechanical issue with something not being happy under stress.
Will get the dealer to look at it when I hit the 1200 service. Also experienced that the Oil Level indicator tend to never figure out the level when driving on twisty roads. After some minute on the interstate it sorted it out, and showed a happy level of oil (so far I have not added oil, but the dealer told me to expect the E92 to burn oil, which was not the case for my E46, but then again my E36 was gulping down oil ...) |

I have an 08 E92 M3...picked it up in April....end of June have 3200 miles on it...followed break-in to the letter....did add a quart of oil AFTER the 1200 mile service so I'm not sure if they did not fill correctly when they changed it..OR I actually burned through it...power wise the car is running strong...no issues to report...only thing is minor...the center vent for A/C...the piece that adjusts flow broke

Mine hasn't used any oil at all in over 6,000 Kms. I guess it's nothing to be too concerned about all the same.

my dct is starting to have a weird issue. when it downshifts back to first when coming to a stop alot of times when moving from 2nd back to first there is a loud clunk out of the tranny which you can actually feel kick the car. it happens about 70 percent of the time. i guess i will have bmw check it at the 1200 service.

Im Glad to see some people aren't having any problems. Thinking of Reconsidering on the GTR. As for the whine, Check you Power Steering Fluid and Belt Tension. It could be a power steering pump goin bad as well.

Aw crap!! As you can see in my sig, I have an 08 e90. I started hearing the rubbing sound that some of you have been experiencing at about 2800 miles, took it to the dealer, they changed the the fluids and told me that would fix it.
Well, last Monday while I was driving to work I heard this god awful noise, sounded like a circular saw cutting through wood. It only happened when in gear and my foot was OFF the gas. I took it straight to the dealership and guess what...........I now have a brand new diff! I hope this is not an omen! (Tae, can I have my e46 back please )
