Default New pics and question

So it's been a while since I've posted any pictures, thought I'd let you guys know what I've been up to. I recently had my interior reupholstered to new with leather from gahh. They didn't have a 100% match to the modena in my car but it is very close and looks infinitely better than my cracked seats did before. I opted to use the gahh leather instead of finding a more perfect color match for the modena because they use oem stitch patterns etc and figured it would come out better. I'm very happy with the results. They look like brand new vaders, came out pretty perfectly. They put the M stitching in and everything. The color is just very slightly lighter than the rears. The passenger headrest is still at the upholsterer so it's not in the pictures.

I've also done the usual maintenance, suspension etc, nothing too major. As always, I have to apologize for the terrible pictures. I don't have a very good camera or any photography skills but you should get the idea.

Also lastly, I'll probably take a bit of heat for this but I'm thinking about selling and moving into an e46 m3. I've always loved that car and now is a good time for me to possibly make the move. How much do you guys think I could reasonably expect to get on a sale or trade in? My car is a 99 with 71k miles. No mechanical issues whatsoever. A few paint imperfections on the front and rear bumper from 8 years of driving but again nothing major. The only mods are ZKW with HIDs, euro clears all around, the new interior, and an alpine headunit with ipod dock. I like the stock look so didn't modify it much. All replacement parts have been OEM.

It is also still under an aftermarket warranty I bought when I originally purchased the car and the coverage lasts through December. I was thinking between 17 and 18k on a private sale, probably 14-15 trade in. Sound reasonable?

Looking good Dan!! The leather looks nice enough to take a nap on... (Nice window decal behind the drivers seat, too.)

Thanks Stovelegs, I'm actually working EMS full time right now before my new job starts in August. I'll probably be getting my Fire 1 this fall too just for fun. Hope the chemo is going well and you get that EMT-P soon

Looking good bro!

As for the E46, I've owned two of them and daily drove them for over 3 years. It's a fantastic car but VERY different from the E36. I've come to love my E36 more as it's more a driver's car than the E46 is, but nevertheless, the E46 is awesome. I suggest a few long test drives before you make a final decision as you have such a nice E36 you would be giving up.

Man they really could of done a better job with the leather... Looks really bad bro, I'm sorry.

A for effort though, I know how much you wanted a mint interior.

No worries man, I posted for opinions and appreciate them. The flash makes it look more dramatic, it looks much closer in person and unless you are looking you won't notice but yeah it's definitely not a perfect match.

Not referring to the color. They did a shotty job sizing the leather and creating the cushion. Looks like cellulite struck your vaders

The color isn't too bad, but it seems they could have pulled the leather tighter. It looks pretty baggy.

Wheres the passenger headrest?

Don't expect much more than 12 or 13 on a trade. The best way to do it is private sale, but obviously it will take longer and be more work.

haha well yours do look amazing, I think the leather work is pretty good on mine to be honest, especially if you see it in person, but I see what you mean. Yours do look tighter
