Steering Noise
After the car (04 M3 Coupe 19.5K miles) has sat for several days, I hear a noise coming from the front that sounds like the car is riding on the rim. This occurs when I turn the wheel over to make a 60 degree corner or more in both right and left direction. It dissappears after the car has been driven a short distance (mile at the most). Seems to me if it was a wheel bearing I'd hear it on one side or the other and it would be more constant.
Any ideas? |
