Curious as to how the underside looks, especially if it's been in Iowa for a while... What's crazy is that I drove from Madison, WI to Kansas City, MO and passed through Iowa City, small world! So for a brief moment there were two techno violet M3 sedans within close proximity, haha. The fact that this one is a manual is super cool though, mine's still an autotragic (for now).

If it really is in as good a condition as described then at that price, even if you bought it, drove it awhile, and later decided to sell, I can't imagine you would lose much. Techno sedans are rare. I guess it all depends on the extent of the rust.

Don't see any rust in the pics you posted? $3K would go in the ridiculous deal category. Did you see the TV sedan just sell on BAT for $20K?

I would stay far away from a rusty car. They are not worth it.

Eh, for $3k it makes a lot more sense. Would rather pay $3k for a rusty car than $10k for a rust-free one, but I'm cheap/broke so that's where my mentality is from.
