And yet, to my surprise, it pulled out $15,500. $16,275 with buyers fee. In Winter. Looks like our cars are on an up trend.

Will be interesting to see where this TV ends up. But, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends at $17K. Like the single bid Dakar.

Wonder what happened to the dude that meant to bid 18k but bid 180? Odd that he hasnít come back to put that 18k back in. My guess is 21k for this car, as high as that seems.

Must have been quite the jolt when his credit card was charged $9000 in buyers fee! His wife probably said NO MORE.

That would have been shocking for sure but they have a max of $5k in fees and only pre-authorize your card for the charge.

Surprising ending $$ for the Alpine automatic.

That Alpine automatic did really well. I think the mileage and overall condition really helped. I also wonder where the guy who was to bid 18k on the Techno disappeared to. Doesn’t seem fair to cancel the erroneous bid and not have it followed through.

Just drove a new M4 convertible for a week... these E36 M3’s will be walking up in price in clean well kept conditions regardless of the miles. It doesn’t matter for me though... love the car!!!

Right, forgot about the $5K max. Either way, my credit cards are set to auto notify whenever there's a charge and I've had BAT ping me a couple times when I've bid on cars and even though it's a pre-authorization it feels real!

Gotta say I love your signature pic! I've got a bunch of your track pics saved on my phone. Love how TV shines when going fast around the track

Here's some food for thought. At the current bid, this E36 costs the same as my Z4M Roadster, yet has more miles than it!

i was shocked by what that went for. i can totally see time capsule and restored examples getting back to MSRP.

The 90s cars are picking up steam. i bought a 93 mustang cobra with 8k miles in 09 for $8200 and 2 sold at auction this weekend for 38k and 44k. E36 M3 will be there soon as well. even the 3000gt VR4s are moving higher and those were crap to own mechanically. given the quality of the e36 m3 - once people start restoring them they will fetch much bigger money than where they are now. its getting harder to find oem parts as well.
