New ones are available. Schmiedmann has them. I believe Umnitza is having some sort of group buy right now as well.

Might want to search Umnitza on bimmerforums before pulling the trigger.

Not much negative will come up since they are allowed to delete comments as a forum sponsor.

It is a un-modified part. You may chose not to do business with a particular vendor, but as far as the product, I do not see much risk especially if the price is good. But up to you.
I got mine through Schmiedmann which I have had good experiences although the shipping is expensive.

I bought zkw’s through umnitza and one lens had a tiny blemish at the very top, I didn’t think anything of it. After a week of putting it on the car, it cracked the entire lens. Zkw lenses were back ordered at the time, and umnitza refused to even sell me a lens off another set of lights at full retail, let alone help me get them warrantied. So ya, not ordering anything from umnitza ever again, I don’t care what it is.

My understanding if that Umnitza is a terrible company to deal with.

Is $472 shipped for a set of Bosch headlights from Schmiedmann a good deal?

I paid $366 for a pair shipped from Schmiedmann during their holiday sale ($287 before taxes and shipping). I though this was a good deal. How did you get to $472? I see the price at Schmiedmann is $157 per side for the "Headlight H1 original Bosch (AL/Magneti Marelli)".

Those are not the lights you want (IMO). Those are parabolic, like your stock headlights. The H1 are projector based and cheaper.
