How does the US connector differ? As it uses same light (low/main/high beam).

I’ve never seen a US headlight.

I would be happy to make you a set of adapters. I can get a set completed early this week.

Sent you a PM Brett. Thanks!

I spent the evening making three different pairs to see what costs and time involved added up to be. Some of you may not like my pricing for doing the work to build the connectors, so I'm going to add a break down of all the parts and their costs. You can DIY your own or buy them ready made from me.

You can also look in my build threads if you want to see what it looks like to convert your car harness to Euro without pnp adapters.

Quote:
Headlight Side
Euro Headlight Plug: 61131392222 $4.57 each - (x2)
Plug Terminal: 61131376202 $0.70 each - (x8)

Car Harness Side
9006/9005 Connector w/terminals: ebay $1.25 each - (x4)

Wire
16AWG Remington - Stranded - Brown - 6" (x4)
16AWG Remington - Stranded - White - 6" (x2)
16AWG Remington - Stranded - Yellow - 6" (x2)
16AWG Remington - Stranded - Gray - 18" (x2)

Heat Shrink
16AWG - 1" long (x4 - x8)
1/4" - 3" long (x2)

Optional
Euro Headlight Connector Rear Boot: 12521713508 $4.43 each (x2)

Euro cars did not use the optional rubber protection boot. It is a nice aesthetic touch, but adds considerable time/difficulty to each connector assembly process.

Tools
IWIS SN-28B
Blue-Point PWC48
I made three different versions shown below.

Option 1 - $45/pair

Option 2 - $50/pair

Option 3 - $65/pair

All three side by side

Those look great and the price seems totally reasonable for not having to DIY.

Brett -- sending you message to order an adapter.

I've been using an eBay adapter that I had to re-do and i'm still not satisfied with it. I'd much rather use your adapters knowing I won't have to ever worry about it.

Thanks for providing us e36 owners with yet another great solution!

Brett, I'm also in for option 3 but can you make a plug and play solution for the city lights?

Thank you,

Omair

You just need to pull the parking light wire on the corner light and attach it to the gray wire. It’s the purple/gray wire on one side and yellow/gray on the other.

Ooh, I like the third option. Definitely in for a set if I can find Euro headlights.
