I have a slick top Estoril. Its a pretty non event for me. I don't use the sunroof enough to make it a deal breaker though once and a while would be nice. I'll be honest I would be surprised if a slicktop really adds that much value to the car.

I guess i'm the only one who thinks having the sunroof cracked on the e36/e30 looks cool as shet...

That being said: reduced weight is cool. However I don't think having a slicktop will make a beat cosmos 250k mile rust-bucket priceless.

Contact the factory and ask them.. I am sure someone there could give you real numbers. Wish had noon-s/r on my sports cars but then again I am a bit 'claustrophobic' fresh air and sunshine are sometimes a welcome thing. Slick-top would be cool. Maybe sunroofs were the "flat-screens" of the 80's -90's?

My '94 Canadian Eurospec is a slicktop. Not sure how many of the other 44 are as well, but I"m guessing not many. I like it because its unique, but honestly do miss having one.

Your car is also an example of every desirable feature available on the e36. As good as it gets for non-get/LTW cars.
I’m sure the non-sunroofers in here would use it as a talking point if you ever sold it as a “non-sunroof car commanding more” while trying to ignore the real reasons it’s a 50k e36.

No need for a sunroof in a sports car, just wind the windows down.

I have a sunroof on my 328iS and whilst it's normally open on a slant I hardly ever change that position and aren't sure what I'd gain if I did (a sunburnt head?). Ambiants in summer here are about 25*C so perhaps I'd use it more if that was different?

All M3's sold here were slick unless optioned with a sunroof. Fortunately mine didn't come with one.

No sunroof - check
No traction control - check (320bhp, nobody can seriously need TC right?!?)
No cruise control - check (in a sports car?!?)
Aluminium doors - check -
Manual seats - fail (sad panda, these electric seats are atrociously heavy)

And aircon hasn't worked for ~15 years, I should probably just pull all the plumbing out to save the weight.
