Does anybody know if front e46 mats fit properly into an e36?

I ask because we can't get RHD e36 mats with the ///M logo but we can get RHD e46 mats with the ///M logo - if they fit I'll get e46 mats.

They won't fit very well. I've got an E36 and E46 and they are def not the same shape. You can google image search also BTW

Thank you.

I have tried searching and got inconclusive results, a first hand opinion was the only thing that would sway me one way or the other.

If I do two Google searches;

"e46 floor mat"; and,
"e36 floor mat"

There are multiple identical pictures... that's why I said "inconclusive" rather than "you're wrong"....

But, if you've actually tried swapping them across and found they simply don't work then I'm happy to accept your findings. You have done this right?

I had e46 sedan floor mats in the e36 sedan when I bought it and they were too long and just bunched on the pedals.
