Default Re: SuperSprint Euro exhaust system install grief

You can go header to tailpipe with either USA Supersprint or Euro Supersprint. And just like there are replica USA SS headers that are much cheaper than the SS, there are replica Euro SS headers made by Raceland that cost only about $230. Finding replica Euro mid and rear exhausts may be more challenging. Someone was offering a replica Euro SS midpipe, at least in the past.

If you look at the termination point of each respective header outlet, you will see the difference.

I installed the full Euro end-to-end with the SS Race muffler. I probably would not install the race muffler again. I'm thinking about going to the sport muffler. The race muffler has a lot of drone. It sounds great under acceleration but for any long distances (which I have not done yet), I think it will get old pretty fast.

Part of the drone may be from the long tube headers and the center resonator so your experience may be different.

I had the sport muffler and thought at the time that it was too tame and maybe I should have bought the race muffler.

Now that I read further into Joe’s comment, I don’t drive long distances - maximum 50 miles. For long drives I’d prefer what I have now. Drone sucks.

I have the sport muffler, and I kind of feel like itís too quiet. I did have the scorpion euro spec muffler.

It sounded amazing, but so much drone man. I was thinking about trying the race like you currently have.

I may end up getting the euro spec resonated center section.

Full ss with ss sport muffler

Vs

Scorpion
