So it seems the sedan and touring share the same bumpers?

I donít really get emotionally attached to cars but I have to admit this one was definitely the hardest to let go to date. I honestly I cannot think of a single better car to replace it. It was just the perfect all arounder. I could carry just about anything I needed one day and carve canyons or hoon on the track the next. Besides, the chances of finding another clean CA facelift AW/black slicktop Ö Ya I donít think Iíll be able to top that car. Oh well, it went to a good home and I have first dibs if the buyer wants to sell.

Since no single car could fill the void I picked up two

* E39 540iT M-sport.

I actually mentioned this model in the first post of this thread. Happy to have finally found one.
From my research itís one of only 182 M-sport 540i Touring brought to North America, so very much a unicorn!

The M-sport over a regular 540iT means M bumpers, M suspension, anthracite pillars and headliner, M steering wheel, 17Ē M wheels (18Ē on the sedan), shadowline trim, a shorter final drive ratio -3.15 instead of 2:82- and a bunch of M logos.

Itís a noticeably larger car than the E46. Iím pretty amazed at how much stuff I can carry with this car. It drives nothing like the E46 but instead reminds me very much of my ex beloved 01 E38 740i sport. Not a car Iíd ever take to the track but itís a very pleasant and comfy driver (~60tq advantage over the S54 at some ~1000rpm sooner).

* Z4 M roadster.

This one satisfies my S54 cravings and then some. Itís light, tight and very fun to drive!

Both cars need a good amount of TLC which I look forward to give

Congrats on the two new cars Kevin.

Now, I have a 2001 M5 I'm parting with full drivetrain for that wagon
