Nice, should start a write up and save as you go along.

superbang, I'll def be posting all my waky adventures into this new build. This new job pays enough to do what I want and then some.

I hate knowing I have a half tank left and not using it so I dropped back down to a 75 shot and re-aimed the nozzle straight down the throat. For some reason it works great again. Can't wait to go dp

OK, so the sneaky, underneith the manifold idea wasn't so practical. I've decided to mount the nozzles up top but beneath the injector cover. Dynotune has these 'tamahawk' nozzles that may allow me to still conceal the nozzles and keep that clean stock look. They're a tad more expensive but each can flow 150hp which is more that enough. Now the question is; is there enough room under the injector cover to conceal the nozzles along side the injectors? I'd like to(have to) keep the nozzle interface perpendicular to the runner. I'll post pics asap

I just about have all the components for dp assembly. Should I start a new nitrous write up with the de-install of the single port setup and install of the dp? Should I just keep this one going? Can anyone recommend a good site/place to get funnel jets and nylon tubing together?

Before I make the purchase; has anyone heard anything bad about nylon tubing for nitrous/fuel? I read a post about the hot/cold cycling making them become brittle. I never plan on moving them from their positions so what say you?

I don't have enough info to make the correct educated decision. But i will offer you my thoughts. So if it was me, i'd stay clear from nylon. Just think back to all the nitrous set ups you've ever seen. What did they use? From 100 shot to 500 shot.... I'll tell you its not nylon. Start a new diy and don't forget pictures a long the way. I will soon follow with direct port myself. 100 shot just isn't cutin it.

lol, thought I was just typing to myself there for a while. The manifold, solenoids, D blox, tube nuts, 1/8" comp fittings w/ ferreles are all in. The tomahawk nozzles, tubing and cone furreles are coming next monday(sadly). Unless I get a few SAPSIM orders soon, the MicroEdge will have to wait till next month. As far as nylon tubing vs. ss tubing, I'm going to use nylon. The placement of the nozzles requires it. Honestly, I haven't seen a single nylon tubing setup fail, except for a guy that crushed the ferreles so tight, it plugged the line then burst. Nylon setups are most common on atv's and motorcycles and such where spaces are tight. You'll see, this is gonna be SWEEEET!!

Here you go...

1. Where to drill the nozzle ?
A: Right After the MAF (wet system)

2. Where to position the nozzle ?
A: point it to the driver side so it hits the intake wall first.

3. What intake can i use with nitrous ?
A: Stock AIR box or old K&N Intake # 69..i am sure other intakes. are fine
too... ( so longer the intake pipe is so better !! for better distribution )

4. Where to tap the fuel line ?
A: Right under the car passenger side AFTER THE FUEL FILTER.

5. What window switch should i use ?
A: http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=194
I think is the best out there for the money and very simple.

6. Where to get the WOT signal from ?
A: Right on the TPS in the Engine bay by the oil filter.
There are 3 wires going to the TPS . TAP THE WHITE MIDDLE WIRE.

7. Where to get RPM/TACH reading from ?
A: on the OBD II Port ... BLACK WIRE PIN #9

8. Where to get the 12V switched power ?
A: Best palce is the OBD II port the GREEN WIRE PIN # 1

9. Where to mount the bottle and run the line ?
A: best place in the trunk. Run the line under car
just follow u fuel line .. u can zip tie it around the fuel line.
( never run the nitrous line inside the car.)

10. What should be mine bottle pressure at ?
A: 950 psi + I like my Around 1100 psi.
( depends on u jets/ fuel mixture.)

11. What is the stock fuel pressure on the M3 ?
A: 73-75 PSI

12. What jets should i use ?
A: http://www.ny-trex.com/calculator.php this is nitrous calculator

13. What are the best spark plugs ?
A: NGK DCPR9E gap at 0.26

14. What should be mine AFR on nitrous ?
A: 11.5 - 12.2

15. What is the biggest shot i can run on single nozzel ?
A: 100 shot .. i would not run more cuz it wont distribute easy u will alwasy get misfires at CYL # 6

16. What is the biggest shot i can run on Direct port ?
A: 150 on 93 pump gas. 125 on 91 pump 150 + on C16 race gas.
The biggest shot i had on my car is 250. ( all this depends on u tune) those # are based on stock software

17. What is a good bottle heater ?
A: http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...product_id=693
(very nice bottle heater and bracket works great and it looks very nice)

18. How do i get my bottle pressure down ?
A: Best thing to do use purge valve.

19. What is a nitrous purge valve ?
A: Is a good option to have. Because ever time u refill u bottle and hook it up, u will always have extra AIR in the
main feed line. so u first shot wont be that great. because u will get more fuel then nitrous and u tune will be
off.. the car will bog out. so purge valve will release any extra air in line and some of the nitrous.
