Default ESS Install Issue

Hello all, I'm wrapping up an installation of My ESS Supercharger kit, and I've encountered a problem. On my first startup, the water pump pulley actually ground itself on the Hydraulic tensioner. I took the pulley off and reinstalled it making sure the 4 bolts were tight, but the clearance between it and the tensioner is extremely tight. It's not currently touching, but I can barely put a credit card in between them. Is this normal or is something misaligned?

Thanks guys!

I am dealing with this issue myself. We are replacing the tensioner to see if it was defective. Initially we did not see this issue. Having taken the car back apart we found the water pump pulley damaged.
