This might be really difficult to do, but anyway we can see this actually installed in the car? Like a render/photoshop?

I can possibly do one with the cluster assembled, but I don't have an e46 to show it in a car. I'm no photoshop expert either. I simply scanned the gauge faces and selected all the gray and put a new layer with a different color.

Do they have certain colors we would have to choose from? Wonder what a lsb would look

Lsb?

As far as I know, we can pick pretty much any color, but the fewer choices the better. I still don't know if I can get multiple colors in the initial order or not. Minimum order for the m5 faces was 20, so if I had 20 people interested in each color, that obviously wouldn't be a problem, but if I can get like 4 colors and only need 5 of each, that would be better.

I think cost will be a huge deciding factor as well.

I can tell you right now that price would be pretty reasonable. This is not a for sale thread, so I'm not going to mention what it might be, but if you PM me, I'd be happy to discuss it.

I like the first dark gray. Looks kinda like the F8x cluster:

I agree. I think the first dark gray does look better. The second is a bit too close to the black, and I'm getting the impression that the black isn't as interesting to people.

Does anyone have any other color ideas other than gray? I can try experimenting with some other options as well.

Default Gauging interest in Black Faces for M3 Clusters

I agree that I think I'd prefer the stock grey to the black, but those dark greys look nice. What I'd be really like to see is a yellow or red gauge face

Not sure how it'd look on the e46 cluster, but hey, if Ferrari and porsche can do it, why not us??

Alpina blue maybe? Might clash with the RPM LEDs though
